I invite you to use this list to start thinking about how you want to feel at the end of your Massage, before you actually arrive for your session. As soon as you start thinking about this, you are beginning the treatment! Do not worry if you are unclear – it is my job to help you clarify this when you arrive. Normally it only takes a minute or two.

As a qualified NO HANDS Massage Practitioner, I can offer you several different NO HANDS Massage treatments; and each one can be done in a variety of styles, so it is worth spending a few moments thinking about your outcome: How do you want to feel at the end?

Like most natural therapies; Massage has a cumulative effect; meaning that when you have regular sessions, one or two weeks apart, you will notice more benefits each time. Your body ‘remembers’ how good it felt after the previous session, and automatically starts to release tension the moment you get on the table! This means that your third session is ten times more effective than your first. This is just how ‘touch medicine’ works. It is probably the most ancient medicine on the planet. Pick up the booklet “An Ancient Formula…” next time you come in for a session if you want to read more about this.

Administration
To make your first session with me go as smoothly as possible, please spend a few moments reading the administration section below.
Disclaimer

NO HANDS® Massage is a very safe therapy. However, with certain medical conditions all Massage is contraindicated.  It is your responsibility as a client, to inform me before the start of each session of any health issues you have (including bruises, sprains, recent operations etc); whether you are receiving treatment from any healthcare professional; and of any medications you are taking.  Massage is not a substitute for medical treatment.

* * * I am not a medical practitioner and do not diagnose or treat medical conditions. * * *

If you are receiving treatment for any serious or chronic condition, please bring a written note from your GP or specialist stating that it is OK for you to have Massage.

Timing

To make the most of your appointment time, please arrive a few minutes early for your session.  Parking is available on the drive in front of the gates. Please stay in your car (or outside the gate) and I will come and collect you when it is time for your appointment. If you are late, I will not keep the next client waiting, and you will lose time from your session.

Mobile Phone

Make the most of your session time by switching your mobile phone off before you come in.
To receive a reminder the day before your appointment, please let me know your mobile number.

Payment

All treatments must be paid prior to the start of treatment by Cash, Card, Bank Transfer or Standing order. (See Standing order form)

Cancellation Policy

When you book a session, I reserve this time especially for you. If you have to re-schedule a session, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can give this time to someone else.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or do not show up for an appointment, I will have to charge you the full session price. Likewise, if I have to re-schedule your session with less than 48 hours notice, your next session will be free.  Fair is fair!

Journal

I highly recommend that you allocate time to write down your experiences and feelings after each session in your very own Massage journal.  This can help you to learn more about yourself as you notice any changes over time, and will also allow you to check how effective your sessions are.

Code of Responsibility / Feedback

I am fully insured and abide by the code of responsibility of the NO HANDS Massage Association.

This means that the quality of my work is continuously monitored by the NO HANDS Massage Customer Care team. Feedback forms are always available in the Clinic; or you can download one from the NO HANDS Massage website; www.nohandsmassage.com, and send this back to the address on the form. All forms are confidential and not read by me.
